Dapresy is on the world market, and their customers are some of the world's largest companies. The Norrköping company has been somewhat anonymous in the part of the IT industry where large amounts of data are stored and visualized. "We are experts in data visualization, and it is no coincidence that our company is located in Norrköping," says Torbjörn Andersson, CEO of Dapresy.
- "We are a profitable IT company in Norrköping, though we also work internationally. We are planning for an annual growth of 30 percent in the coming years," Andersson said.
Torbjörn Andersson worked together with Peter Bernström in the company Hermelin Research when a customer frankly explained to them that they needed to get better at packaging the collected data. Large amounts of data could be visualized, and the company needed to focus clearly in order to develop further.
- "We had to think about which one was the correct profile for our employees, and we saw that we could recruit from the Media Technology program at Campus Norrköping," said Torbjörn Andersson. "Media engineers laid the foundation for Dapresy’s expansion, and today we tailor solutions to clients worldwide."
The new product, Dapresy Pro, blends together the best of the past methods, and today you can, for example, illustrate the flow of customers at all 360 airports in the world operated by KLM / Air France. Dapresy won this prestigious assignment in front of a billion dollar company that was their competitor.
- "Our clientele has been mostly market research companies, but now we are focusing on addressing [end client] companies directly," says Per Nordling, Chairman of Dapresy. "We have a strong brand, and we notice that even young, college students want to work for us."
Sweden is far ahead in data visualization and the clustering of firms and knowledge within the industry. Norrköping gives Dapresy and its customers a strength you want to use wisely.
- "We've been working hard and have made a platform where we can really plan for continued strong growth," says Torbjörn Andersson. "Last year, we opened an office in Boston, and in the fall we will open offices in Germany, England and Australia. We also plan to hire about three people a year for the next five years."
Dapresy has grown out of office after office in Norrköping, and therefore this fall they will move to a larger premise in ProNova. There is more space for new employees, and a growing number of customers who fly in to visit the office.
