Dapresy Attended Two Marketing Research Conferences Back to Back
Rudy Nadilo, President of Dapresy NA, reports on two marketing research conferences he attended, the ESOMAR World Congress and the MRA Corporate Research Conference.
Conferences can be the best thing - and also the worst thing -about business. Good ones are great, and bad ones are like watching paint dry. Dapresy recently attended the Esomar World Congress in Nice, France, as well as the MRA Corporate Research Conference in Chicago. They were very different, but both were excellent and filled with high quality attendees.
If you are doing business globally, there is nothing like Esomar. It attracts all the senior managers and owners from companies found literally around the globe. Having the venue in Nice didn’t hurt either. The MRA continues to amaze me with the quality of their conferences and the number of attendees. Esomar is a global event and attracted about 1,000 people. MRA, Marketing Research Association, is a North American event, and it had about 600 attendees. Great numbers for both, and hats off to Finn Raben and David Almy for heading these two great conferences.
The word about Dapresy is obviously spreading, because we were inundated with requests for many meetings. The common comment from people coming to the booth is, “I want to get rid of PowerPoint.” Step right up, I say!
